You must be 18 or older with a VALID picture ID to become a member of Club San Diego.
Is there a place where I can smoke?
Club San Diego has become smoke-free but smoking is permitted outdoors.
What kind of ID should I bring?
Acceptable forms of ID include any government or military issue photo ID. A regional or international driver’s license is acceptable if it is tamper-proof and has a photograph. A passport will always work.
How can I get in contact with someone I met at the club?
For the safety and privacy of our members we are unable to give out any information or relay any messages.
Can I visit Club San Diego anonymously?
No. In order to comply with city ordinances for private clubs we cannot allow our customers to purchase memberships without identifying themselves.
Does the club serve alcohol?
No. The club has a strict Zero Tolerance Policy for the possession and use of alcohol or drugs and any illegal activity. You will be denied entry if you are “under the influence”. All bags are subject to inspection.
What do you do with the personal information I give you when I purchase a membership to the club? Will I receive anything in the mail?
Club San Diego is highly respectful of member privacy and we understand the need for discretion. The information you give us is for our records only and is never shared with third parties. You will never receive anything in the mail.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes. We accept Cash, Visa, American Express, and MasterCard as forms of payment. A $50 Charge will be charged to your card if you damage anything in the rooms.
If valuables are taken from either my room or locker, will the club reimburse me?
No. The club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Can I bring a bag?
We allow backpacks in the club, but nothing larger than that including travel bags/luggage. We suggest that if you need to store luggage, then you can rent lockers to store at the airport, bus station or train station.
Can I reserve a room in advance?
No. Room rentals are distributed on a first-come first-serve basis. We do not reserve rooms in advance to preserve the integrity of the first come first serve policy.
I'm a nudist. Will I be welcome at the club?
Naturally, nudity is permitted in all wet areas. However, a towel or sportswear is to be worn in all public areas.
If I am visiting from out of town can I rent a room for more than the regular time limit? Can I pay for a 24-hour block of time or several rental time blocks at once?
We cannot accept payment in advance for rooms. When you rent a room your rental is good from the time of issue until you have reached the time limit of 8 hours or until you leave prior to the 8-hour limit. You may rent the room for an additional 8 hours. Overtime charges will apply if you stay beyond the paid 8-hour limit and will be charged to your account.
Can I sleep at the club?
Sleeping is permitted in private rooms only. No sleeping is permitted in public areas as a courtesy to other members.
If I leave the club and return before my room/locker rental expires is the rental still good?
No. However, you may leave to smoke or feed the parking meter.
What is the difference between a locker and a room?
A room allows you to have a private space to yourself, whereas a locker is in a public space.
Will the club be busy on the day I plan to visit?
It is almost impossible for us to predict member attendance since it relies upon factors that are beyond our control. The best people to ask this question are the member service representatives who work the shifts that cover the time you plan to visit.
Can I share the cost of a room with a friend?
No. Each member must purchase either a room or locker rental upon each visit to the club.
I am a bit on the heavy side and out of shape. Will I be welcome at The Club?
Absolutely! We are very body-positive and welcome all.
Do I need to bring my own towels?
No. We are happy to supply you with clean towels.
What kind of parking facilities can I expect? Will there be enough parking? Is my car safe there?
Since our facility is in a downtown setting, there is no dedicated parking for the club. There is metered parking along our street as well as paid parking lots throughout the neighborhood. Currently, meters are active 10:00 am-8:00 pm. We do not recommend leaving valuables of any kind in your vehicle.
Can I bring my wife or girlfriend to the club?
No.
Does the club offer franchise agreements?
The club is a privately held company and at this time we do not offer franchises.
What is your Refund Policy?
All sales are final unless the facility is closed due to unforeseen circumstances. You will automatically be notified if this occurs if you provide us with a valid e-mail address or phone number.
Can I bring my dog to the club with me?
No. The only species allowed in the club is human with the exception of officially trained service animals. Also, the club has a strict policy against allowing members to leave pets in the car during their visit. Regardless of the season.
